Artist's Comments

We should have known it would crumble into the sea when we drew our love in the sand.

Taken in the Bahamas during a sunset.

Hey look, it's a signature!
:iconpohsibetdrahs:
The colors are amazing. This is what we in va would call a complimentary color scheme. Blue and orange are opposites on the color scale. When you put them right next to one another, it makes them pop. When you mix them too, it adds depth to the piece. I love how the cmera angle is tilted off to the side. I think a straight on shot might have made this mediocre. But now the piece looks very dynamic. You have gotten a lot of darks, and where the water touches the sand freshens things up a bit with some lights. I am going to post one similar to this when I get to that point in editing my 268 pics.

hhahahaha thank you
I was a va major too, but I wasn't thinking about colors when I took this... It just worked out that way when I touched it up on photoshop.
I'm looking forward to what you'll post. ^_^

Thank you but trust me when i tell you, it really isn't as good as yours and I am fine with that. It is not like I am competing with you.

Awh! It's cliche, but my favorite cliche :)
and you did it a lot better than most people.
I especially like how there's a bit of green that pops and the sky looks a bit aged.
It's also really nice how the heart is half underwater, so really smooth on camera, and half rough and grainy.
Ahh :)
